Open Opportunity Period - starts on the second Thursday of June for the U11/U12 age groups and the Thursday after the Midwest Regional for the U13 and older age groups and will consist of no physical or on field activities for players (e.g. clinics, training, ball handling, etc.) for the first two days (Thursday and Friday) of the period.
 
a.
Recreational
    1. Players may register and roster to recreational teams with an Affiliate Member prior to the Open Opportunity Period when the Affiliate Member Organization has an earlier registration, but no earlier than May 1 of each year.  Any player rostered to a recreational team may still explore opportunities with other Affiliate Members for the following seasonal year during the Open Opportunity Period for the respective age group under the provisions of these rules, and may opt to play for a select team without a transfer during that time period.
