Player Release (Drop)
a.

 

Voluntary release (Drop) from a team is at the request of the player.  Once released, the player can only be added to another team in accordance with Section III Registration - Player Transfer.
b.
Involuntary release (Drop) from a team is at the request of the coach or Affiliate Member administration.  A player may be released from a team by the coach or Affiliate Member administration only if the player is unable to play for one of the following reasons:
1.
The player has violated rules of the US Soccer, US Youth Soccer or the Nebraska State Soccer;
2.
The player has moved beyond a reasonable travel distance; the determination of reasonable travel distance is subject to definition by the Nebraska State Soccer; and/or,
3.
The player is injured in such a manner that the player will not be able to participate for the remainder of the season.
